​We move on to see how all of this is to affect the general track of our lives together, as well as how to handle anything or anyone that would disrupt it. The general track of our lives together is to be a track of good works, being moved by what is good and profitable for all.

​What is to be our general disposition as Christians in this fallen world? As the people of God, what kind of people are we known to be to those outside of us? God very much cares about the answer to that question and tells us what the answer should be.

​If in how we conduct ourselves, in our character, we are to adorn the doctrine of God our Savior, should we not clearly understand and be able to clearly articulate the doctrine of God our Savior, as it relates to how we live—as it relates to the kind of people we are? Today we start a two-part look at this most essential doctrine of our faith, looking into the textures of its truth in verses 11-14. This message covers verses 11 and 12, on God showing us His grace in salvation, as well as its direct impact on how we are to live in this fallen world.
