I write this on another one of those Monday mornings after Sunday's ministry. I'm in a lull. I did not sleep well last night, so, I'm tired. I don't feel very motivated. My mind feels numb. And I am not looking forward to long hours in a truck today. But none of that changes anything about my God and Father or my relationship with Him. None of that changes whether He is with me or not. He is no less with me today than yesterday. In ministry or in mediocrity, He is face to face with me as His Spirit indwells and comforts me. When it is time to fly, He makes me soar on wings like an eagle. When it is time for big strides, He makes me run and not wear out. When it is time to just take small steps for awhile, He makes me walk and not faint as He gives me endurance for the long journey. Yes, today I am down in myself, but, no, I am not out of Him.
