WHAT I REMEMBER ABOUT THE MURRAH BOMBING

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a necessary reminder of the evil that shook the ground it stands on - the worst act of domestic terrorism that shook this state and nation to its core - on April 19th, 1995. If you have never been there, I hope you will make the trip to remember what happened there all those years ago.

Even now, all these years later, my memory of that tragic day has not dulled. Even though the tragedy of that day did not touch me directly, as it did so many others that lost friends and loved ones, it did mark me permanently because of my involvement in the events at the Murrah Building that day and in days to come, on which I will write more later. Right now, I just want to share what I remember about that day, as it took shape for me personally.
